About Me

Born and raised in “Vancouver”, I have always had a passion for art and making pretty things. Like many folks in the Pacific Northwest, I love spending time in nature and observing the beauty that surrounds us. This love of the natural world inspired my schooling journey to begin by studying biology at Langara College, where I learned invaluable lessons about the world in which we live and further shaped my environmentalist identity.

During the COVID19 Pandemic, I realized that although I loved learning about plants, and the biological systems of life, I craved creating beautiful things and wanted to use that passion to fuel my environmentalism. In fall 2022, I transferred into the Design Formation program and immediately felt a connection to the field, and that I have found “my people”.

Whilst at Langara College, I have developed a strong desire to work in 3D and love thinking about the spaces in which we exist. Outside of school, I work as a nanny, caring for 4-7 year olds. The magic of childhood and children’s abundant imagination is a strong inspiration for many of the designs I create and how I try to look at the world.

I also believe that connecting authentically with others is an incredibly important ingredient for a content life. Fostering community and encouraging people to share the landscapes of their inner worlds are huge passions of mine. I host a monthly moon circle where we share our thoughts and feelings about life and the experience of being human.

Whether you need help designing a poster for your upcoming gathering, have an event you need facilitated, or just some extra hands in the garden—I am a gnome with many skills, a vigorous work ethic and an open heart. Life’s short, let’s make something beautiful together!
